Zdenka CECHOVA

Biography

 

Born 1944 in Prague

 

Zdenka Cechova is a Czech fine artist, multimedia artist, director, set designer and choreographer. She is also an art theorist, an exhibitions curator oand publicist.

Cechova teaches Multimedia Art at the Czech Technical University in Prague.

She is the director and the choreographer for the music, light and water show at Křižík´s Fountain in Prague.

She earned a PhD at Charles University in Prague in 1980.

Cechova is President of the Union of the Czech Computer and Multimedia Artists.

 

Pioneer of computer art in the former Czechoslovakia. She has crossed between the disciplines of Video Art, Multimedia Art, Virtual Art and Video Mapping.
